Long Sutton started off with a good push onto Lincoln, with some good runs straight down the wing from Emma Howell. Unfortunately Lincoln just had the edge on Sutton and attacked hard into the defence, with some great tackling from Helen Worth and Miar Goodge and some great clear outs from Jill Warwick. Lincoln managed to convert 2 short corners into goals, but this didn't stop Sutton fighting back. Sutton managed to gain a couple of short corners but were unable to turn them into goals. In the second half the play was equal to both teams, with great passes from Jess Hudson and Lou Southgate and some great work from Laura Temple in the centre making Lincoln work for it more, Sutton got a few more chances with Katie Ireland up front making some good balls for the wingers and shots. Unfortunately Lincoln were lucky enough to grab another 2 goals and even though Sutton fought back they weren't successful to even the score out. Report by Katie Ireland.
