Sutton were in fine form Saturday as they added another 3 points to their Prem B total.

Crostyx could only manage to field 10 players but Sutton knew they still had to perform to beat this determined side. Sutton started brightly and were immediately threatening the Crostyx goal with excellent work from Whatling and Batten down the flanks. Sutton kept the ball well, moving it from side to side with some slick, quick passing. Gavaghan and Taylor supported the attack well and it was no surprise when Sutton opened their account through goal machine Danny Sisson. Fyson and Hardy were pushing up high creating space in the midfield allowing Harrison to work the ball into all areas of the pitch. Sutton were soon two to the good as Fyson notched his first and then the midfield dynamo Hardy skipped passed two players and smashed home on his reverse to make it three. Sutton then got complacent and a hard working Crostyx team put them under pressure and deservedly got a goal back. Sutton managed to thwart Crostyx from any other goals and went into the break 3-1 up.

The second half there was to be no complacency as Sutton dominated. Crostyx to their credit worked hard and made it difficult for Sutton to break their final defences. Sutton knew this and worked the ball well making Crostyx work hard and tire. Fyson fired in a trademark drag flick which was helped in by a deflection from a Crostyx player and soon after Sisson added his second. Fyson then completed his hat-trick with a beautiful drag flick into the bottom corner. Will Cook decided he wanted in on the action with a lovely solo goal before Fyson finished proceedings by smashing the ball into the net to complete the onslaught. Crostyx battled all the way to the end of the game and didn't make it easy as the score line suggest. Sutton played smart hockey and worked hard as a team which allowed them to score so many.
