Suttons 2nds travelled away to face last season's league rivals Bourne Deeping, coming away with a further 3 points and yet again giving the Dragons a lesson in hockey that could have easily been into double figures in the first half had the forwards and midfield been more composed in front of goal. After a good first half but a lack of end product Sutton went into the break 1-0 up a score line that did not reflect the domination Sutton had. The second half saw both sides more determined, Sutton to convert what they were creating and Dragons to put right what was going wrong, with Dragons defence more focused Sutton had to be clinical with their chances in front of goal, Dragons didn't go without chances, skipper Holmes stopping a goal bound shot on the reverse and a couple of short corners that were dealt with by Suttons solid defense and for the 2nd week, stand in keeper Slator showing his worth. Sutton dispatched 3 more goals into the Dragons net, with a combination of fantastic team work and composed finishing, 4-0 to the visitors at full time with Ben Shore, Jeremy Watt and motm Adam Wiles on the score sheet, Andy Shore having a goal disallowed that would have brought Suttons tally to 5. A top performance from the whole team especially Wiles, Esse and Watt.
