Sutton Sabres 1 v Wisbech 1st Team 0

The Sabres got back to winning ways with a hard fought win over a much changed Wisbech side. Both sides worked hard and Sabres took the lead through a well struck Ben Shore finish before half time. Some strong tackling broke up the flow of the game and this affected both sides in restricting them from putting together their passing game. The game was well contested after the break and although there were chances to score, neither side took them in the main due to Wallis and Shepherd in their respective goals. Whatling, Allen and Southgate worked well for the Sabres who with this result give themselves an even chance of finals night qualification.

Spalding 2nd Team 1 v The Nerd Herd 2

These two well matched teams played out another close game, which ended with a 2-1 victory for the Nerds, thus leaving all of the teams level on 4 points. The Nerds welcomed Gemma Parr to their ranks for the first time and she arrived in some style, helping make the first goal for Hales who continued his scoring streak. The score remained 1-0 until half time due to good defending by both sides with Ash Taylor and Ed White particularly impressing and some excellent keeping from both lady keepers, Rhian Goodge in the Nerds goal looking ever more assured. Spalding got back into the game with an own goal after some strong pressure from Spalding and it looked that in the end the points would be shared until Featherstone slotted in the winner to give the Nerds their second win of the league.
