MATCH REPORT
LSHC Juniors v Bourne Deeping - Under 12
Played Away on 5th November 2017Sutton entered two teams today a well established a team and a developing b team. The a team had a frustrating first couple of games losing 2-1 . With plenty of shots on goal it just wasn't their day. Once manager Markillie established that they needed to post up and keep persevering they were duly rewarded with a final win of the day. The game was evenly matched with Sutton going ahead through a Jake simpson short corner strike but dragons came back and scored a lucky goal that squeezed through Braginton who was having an excellent game at keeper. There were some periods of super play as Hoyles made some well timed runs and Markillie got some good shots off but it was Taylor walloping Home the winner that just saw Sutton working to defend their lead through Burton and Hales composure. The b team also saved their best performance of the day to their last game . L Hoyles had worked hard all day and by the last game was linking well with Tia they were unlucky not to be rewarded with a goal. The defence of Norey and the Jenner's were rock solid throughout though and gave the midfield confidence to try and move the ball forward. Much to work on but as always lessons learnt on a cold day at Glinton.
