Newly promoted Long Sutton ladies got themselves their first win of the season this weekend! Even though they seemed very lethargic the first half and saw themselves go 1 -0 down, they made up for it the second half with a nice early goal from Becky Kierman to level the score. Sutton kept the pressure on the Watton defence and their rewards were shown, when Leanne Woodhead gave Sutton the lead! Watton then came back strong, with numerous short corners, but the Sutton defence remained strong with some fantastic play from Lorraine Wallis and player of the match Jess Hudson.
