Long Sutton Ladies 2nd's with only 9 players faced their first league fixture away to Lincoln roses 2nd's and opened the scoring going 1-0 up via Helen worth from a short corner rebound from the keepers pads. Sutton were then under extra pressure from the 14 strong Lincoln roses side conceding 3 goals before half time. A fourth was conceded early on in the 2nd half but Sutton held them up for as long as they could with Katie Ireland being awarded a flick that Tania White successfully converted. Tania White was awarded the team Man of the match.
