Sutton got off to a slow start and were soon a goal down. This goal seemed to galvanised the home team into action. Even though it was a defensive game there were several great runs up the field. This effort and perseverance was rewarded when Jeorgia Carr made a run to split the Peterborough defence and made a great strike across the goal which was deflected superbly into the goal by Millie Lamming.

The second half again was very defensive natured, and the team were kept in the match by some wonderful goalkeeping by CJ Robinson, who was awarded player of the match. Unfortunately, with literally seconds to go Sutton conceded a goal, to lose the match 2 goals to 1. A very disappointing result after a good team performance by all players.
