Sutton Travelled to Ipswich on Saturday in this Prem B fixture. Ipswich started the brighter as Sutton had a few nerves after the long journey. Ipswich opened the scoring but failed to double their lead from the penalty spot a few minutes later. Sutton started to come into the game and produced some lovely attacking hockey but couldn't quite put together the final ball. Fyson then decided he'd take things into his own hands and launched an unstoppable drag flick low into the side of the net to level things up. The game heated up with some strong tackles going in and Sutton went down to 10 men. Ipswich capitalised and added a second just before half time from a sweet short corner strike.

Sutton then flew out of the blocks in the second half and tore Ipswich open again and again playing some stylish, aggressive hockey. It was no surprise when the equaliser came. A lovely flowing move allowed Sisson to slot home. Ipswich then went down to 10 and Sutton put the pressure on but couldn't capitalise themselves. Ipswich managed to steel the points with a bobbling strike that agonisingly slipped into the goal. The immediate chants of "how long left umpire" came from the Ipswich players as they knew they were lucky to take the lead and in the end take all the spoils from another good performance from Sutton.
