Sutton started this Prem B fixture on Saturday at a very leisurely pace. The speed, intensity and work rate from weeks before were absent and it showed as Sutton struggled to get going. Sutton did open the scoring through a Danny Sisson deflection but that was the only real positive of the first half from Sutton . Crostyx equalised and at the break it was 1-1. After a stern dressing down from the skipper Sutton shot into life. The work rate and effort Harrison called for at halftime were finally showing and Sisson soon added his second. Kirkham kept Sutton's lead with some fine saves before Sisson completed his hat truck with a little help from a Crostyx defender. Sutton dominated the last 10 minutes and Fyson added a fourth, unleashing a rocket on his reverse stick into the top corner. Sutton's flowing hockey from previous games deserted them a little but they stuck together again and ground out the 3 points.
