The Green Army wallop Waltham!

Sutton thumped Waltham Forest on Saturday in this Prem B fixture. Sutton started superbly and put Waltham on the back foot. Sutton's pressure paid off as Fyson fired in a trade mark drag flick which was stopped on the line illegally. Harrison stepped up and converted the penalty stroke. Sutton continued to dominate and Fyson fired in another drag flick which allowed Hardy to score the second, reacting brilliantly from the initial save to slot home on his reverse. Hardy then scored his second from a well worked short corner. Sutton were rampant, playing some beautiful team hockey and the fourth soon followed as Sisson, like Hardy before, reacted well to an initial save and slotted home the rebound. Sisson's second soon followed from another excellent short corner routine. 5-0 HT.

The second half saw Waltham try and salvage something from the game and managed to get on the score sheet. Sutton responded as a flowing move allowed Will Cook to deflect home at the far post. Waltham got their second consolation goal but Sisson completed his hat trick as he rounded the keeper and slotted home. Sutton were completely dominant and Sisson thought he got his fourth as he unleashed a thunder bolt which left the cross rattling for hours! A great team performance from Sutton allowed them to completely dominate the game and enjoy the spoils.
