A very lack lustre performance on Sunday saw Sutton beaten in the HA trophy.

Sutton started at a slow pace and never really got out of first gear. Sutton showed their lower league opponents just one glimpse of Prem B level hockey as they tore them apart and Sisson fired in a sublime finish to open the scoring. That was the end of that as Upminster came into the game and deservedly equalised to make it 1-1 at half time.

The second half saw Upminster raise their game and score twice. Sutton managed a second again through Sisson but Upminster came back again to make it 4-2. Sisson completed his hat-trick and Sutton found some life but it was short lived as Upminster  added 2 more to make it 6-3. A poor performance from Sutton combined with a good performance from Upminster means no more Sunday hockey for the Green Army Elite.
