An ugly looking scoreline from a pretty forgettable match for Sutton's young fourth team as they found themselves up against the best that Boston Hockey Club can offer. Fielding eight under sixteen players, under-strength Sutton were no match for Boston's robust, direct style and injuries to both teams did nothing for the match as a spectacle. The only high points for the fourths were a sterling performance from the returning fourth team folk hero, Josh Thody, and league debuts for youngsters Luke Proctor and Pavel Saponenko. Sutton's goal came from a penalty stroke converted by the skipper after a deliberate foot on the line stopped his own goal-bound shot.
