Long Sutton started the match very lathargically, and before they knew it they were 3 - 0 down. Sutton then gained possession, passing the ball down the right side very well. Soon enough they were putting pressure on the Ipswich defence,seeing Leanne Woodhead and Sarah Walker being taken out in front of goal. In the second half things seemed much more even, Sutton played some good hockey, but Ipswich were clinical in front of goal, popping in two more goals. Sutton managed to get 1 goal back through a clearance from Lorraine Wallis, that took two passes to get to Leanne Woodhead to pop in. Player of the match was Charlene Leuty.
