Long Sutton opened the scoring with a goal from captain Lisa Baker in the first minute of the game. The game soon flipped over to favour the visitors Skegness. Through some very good team play Skegness scored some excellent open play goals. With the home side being 4-1 down at half time. Long Sutton came back out in the second half more disciplined in their marking and team approach thanks to sweeper Rachel Gadsden guiding the defence. With excellent distribution of the ball by Laura Temple in md feild and Fantastic runs down the right wing by Emma Howell, Sutton could not break through the Skegness Defence. Player of the match was Laura Temple.
