Sutton 2nds hosted Peterborough's 5ths this Saturday; with some changes to the squad, some players carrying injuries and in form keeper Cliff unavailable, it was set to be a difficult game and this proved the case. Sutton made hard work of things at times giving the ball away too easily, luckily stand in keeper and MOTM Albert Slator was on form keeping out 'Boros attempts. Late in the half, shortly after the visitors took the lead, Sutton followed up with a short corner scored by Ben Shore taking it to 1-1 at half time.

Sutton let a soft goal in in the second half, but some good teamwork allowed Michael Donaghy to slot home Suttons second followed by Otto Esse catching Boro off guard dribbling straight into the D finding Adam Wiles unmarked at the far post who drilled home Suttons winner, a good 3 points and back up to 4th in the table for the 2s.
