The formative Fourths found themselves on the wrong end of a fairly ugly scoreline at league leaders Leadenham, but it was not quite the rout that the numbers suggest. Two goals in the last five minutes when Leadenham's fifteen man squad pressed home their advantage against a tiring twelve, gave the hosts a little extra gloss.

There were some excellent defensive performances, notably from Matt Holmes, Josh Thody in goal, and a man of the match performance from Joss "The Destroyer" Calderbank.

Going forward, Sutton's best joy came from the skills of Harry Thorpe and the pace of Jack Smith, but in truth they struggled to make much of a dent in the home team's armour.
